Harley joined EAC in 2017 after working in molecular and population ecology. As part of her research, she was a Lab Technician and conducted studies on mitochondrial genome analysis, meta-population surveys, and novel species identification.
As an Analyst with EAC, she has worked on several projects involving Point Of Care testing including instrument development, menu optimization, and assay pricing. Her work also included testing product messages and tailoring sales strategies to different customer types. Most recently, Harley has been studying the microbiome and the technologies and companies working in this space.
Harley obtained her BA in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from UConn and has begun a Masters’ Degree in laboratory science and field research. She is skilled in the use of Excel and Adobe PhotoShop.
