Andrew (AJ) Garofalo


AJ joined the EAC team in 2015 as an analyst and has quickly become a consultant. He has worked on a range of projects relating to Point Of Care (POC) device designs, including conjoint studies measuring the relative value of specific design features to primary research. He has contributed to various pricing studies and built databases to support market segmentation and spreadsheets designed to identify and calculate intra-network price discrepancies. He has worked with government healthcare databases including NPPES, CLIA, and HCRIS, and has analyzed the US hospital network market.

AJ’s background is in engineering, with experience in MATLAB, SAS, and Minitab for large data analysis and manipulation.

AJ has a BS in Bio-Medical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, with a focus in Bioinstrumentation.
